CHICAGO (March 25, 2022) - NISA (National Independent Soccer Association) Nation today officially releases the schedule of its Northeast Region - the first to be fully assembled before last year’s inaugural fall season. Eight clubs will play a 10-match season with each club facing three opponents twice and the remaining four once. Starting the season off will be Albion Delaware, formerly Bearfight FC, hosting Boston Athletic April 2nd (5PM EST) at DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, DE.
“After the success of the Northeast region’s fall season, we look forward to what these teams are capable of bringing to the pitch,” says NISA Nation General Manager Jonathan Rednour. “I have no doubt we will see the same high-level engaging soccer that we witnessed in the fall. Every club has been dedicated to meeting our standards.”
The Northeast Region includes returning clubs Atlantic City FC, Albion Delwarare and current reigning fall champs New Jersey Alliance FC. New teams include Aiolikos FC USA Rush, Boston Athletic SC, Allentown United FC, New York Braveheart SC and Union SC. The
inaugural season last fall fielded only six clubs.
NISA Nation, in association with the EPSL (Eastern Premier Soccer League), continue to work towards providing pathways for clubs and players throughout the Northeast portion of the United States.
