WHY COMPETE IN NISA NATION?

We put the Clubs first! We are all about sustainability and want to support teams in coming alongside them to help them achieve their goals. Check out the other leagues, is their marketing more about their league or do they put clubs first?

"CLUB over LEAGUE" this is our mantra. We are here to serve the club and when the club succeeds, we succeed!

We believe in creating pathways. Pathways for your players, and pathways for your club.

We believe in US Soccer. We support the US Open Cup and ALL of our member clubs are eligible to complete in the US Open Cup.

NISA AFFILIATES

We are members of an over 400 team network through our Affiliate Program. We have access to pro clubs, their leaders and owners. We have access to collaborate with other like-minded leagues across the country and even in Mexico.

SOLIDARITY PAYMENTS - We have had many players sign pro contracts with NISA pro teams with payments going back to the clubs! All receiving solidarity payments through our partnership!

WHEN CAN I REGISTER MY TEAM?

You can register a team at any time. While we take teams anytime we have an opening. You can start by filling out your EXPANSION FORM here.

WHAT COMPETITIONS IS AN NISA NATION MEMBER CLUB ALSO ELIGIBLE FOR?

We have multiple competitions. These are determined by region, conference and length of competition.

Here are some current registration dates:

  • US Open Cup - teams will be notified when the USOC registration is open

  • NISA Independent Cup - Qualification is through League and Cup competition

  • NISA Nation/Affiliate Joint National Cup

  • USASA Competitions and Cups (ask us how)

WHAT DOES IT COST TO PLAY IN NN?

LEAGUE FEES & REFEREE COSTS

  • League Fees vary by region. They are determined based on length of season, number of games, level of play, market factors, etc

  • Payment plans are available to clubs as needed

OTHER COSTS (in addition to league fees)

  • Team Performance Bond - $1,000

  • Player registration - $50 per player (January 1 thru December 31)

  • Referee fees per game / per team - $330

  • Field fees per game (home team rents their own facility)

  • Team Website = $35 / month (available through SportzStudio)

  • Included in NN fees above - Game Balls, League Patches, Awards, Prizes, partner/sponsor discounts, and more.

SO WHAT IS MY "ALL IN COST" TO PLAY IN NN?

Get in touch with by filling out the expansion form above and we are happy to go over a budget with you.

We will guide you on the cost of running a club in NISA Nation and will create a specific budget for your team to help you plan. We have no hidden costs and everything is up front with our clubs in terms of costs.

HOW DOES PROMOTION/RELEGATION WORK IN NN?

NISA Nation teams promote to NISA Pro as long as they meet the financial and operational guidelines as set forth by USSF.

NISA Nation has strategic partnerships with other local leagues across our network. It is NOT our goal to take over smaller/local leagues. If any team wants to promote up into NN then we will pay that league a good % of the annual league fee to show solidarity to that league. We will also encourage the team to become a club and form a reserve team to continue playing in the league they came from.

Within NN, depending on the region we have pro/rel. The division champion is promoted the following season.

Promotion is NOT mandatory. If a team wins a championship they can pass on the promotion and stay in their division. In this case the team does not get their league fee waived.

Relegation is reviewed on a case by case basis. As is true for all amateur leagues every year there are teams who come and go. We give priority to teams who do not want to relegate based on the number of teams who join the following season.

HOW LONG IS A "SEASON"

This varies by region depending on weather and number of teams. We believe in and it is our goal in each region to play in the traditional 10 month season that reflects world football. Once we can get to at least 2 divisions and 10 teams per division then we only run one season a year.
