LA MIRADA, CA (November 4, 2024) - It was a big weekend, and it's been a big first season for Worldwide Problems FC.
Four different players scored three goals each as Worldwide Problems FC ran away with a 15-0 victory over Olympiacos CA to secure the NISA Nation Coast Region Fall Season title at Al Barbour Stadium on the campus of Biola University on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Florian Weldin, Coby Jacobs, Kentrell Dorsey and Aaron Abarca all scored three times for Worldwide Problems FC (6-0-2 overall), which has earned a spot at the NISA Nation West Region tournament in Las Vegas, NV, later this month.
On Saturday, Jonathan Santiago had two goals to lead FCGS Force to a 3-1 victory over STG Premier Pro at Crimson Cliffs High School in Washington, UT, and Las Vegas Legends FC shut out Soccer Academy Nevada 2-0 at Las Vegas Sportspark to move into first place in the Southwest Region.
Also on Sunday, Khalid Arramdani scored two second-half goals for Silicon Valley Rush in a 4-2 victory over Afghan Premier FC at Oak Grove High School in San Jose, CA, and James Crawford scored the first goal as Elk Grove Blues beat Modesto City FC 3-0 at Central Catholic High School in Modesto, CA.
