TEMECULA, CA (June 17, 2024) - It was always coming down to just one goal.
A first-half goal was enough as Capo FC earned a 1-0 victory over Temecula FC in a pivotal NISA Nation Southwest Region match at Chaparral High School on Saturday, June 15.
It was the fifth consecutive win for Capo FC (7-0-2 overall), which advances to a matchup against Las Vegas Legends FC for the Southwest Region title. Date, time and location will be announced.
Also on Saturday, Danijal Brkovic scored three times - including the match-winning goal - as United Elite Krajisnik FC defeated FC Dutchmen Independence 4-3 at Herkimer College in Herkimer, N.Y.
On Sunday, Haris Brkovic had three goals as Binghampton FC beat Sahara Gunners 6-3 at Visions Field in Binghamton, N.Y., Laguna FC and Afghan Premier FC played to a scoreless draw at Ohlone College in Fremont, CA, and Abdulrahman Algabri had a goal as Bay Area United FC grabbed a 3-1 win over Battleborn FC at Estuary Park in Alameda, CA.
