BROWNSVILLE, TX (August 3, 2023) – NISA Nation announces FC Brownsville will participate in the Texas Region for the upcoming season.

Formed in 2018, FC Brownsville returned after a two-year absence in 2021 with a new logo but the same purpose - to increase the exposure for local talent and promote economic growth in Brownsville and the surrounding communities. 

"We want to take onto another challenge and we are happy to join NISA Nation," FC Brownsville player Jonathan Robledo said. "Our goal is to play year-round and NISA Nation offers the club that opportunity at a high level outside of our normal competitive calendar."

FC Brownsville has played in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) since 2018, and won the NPSL's Lone Star Conference in the 2023.
