LA MIRADA, CA (June 14, 2023) - AS Los Angeles midfielder Anri Sahakyan was selected NISA Nation Player of the Week for June 5-12.

Sahakyan scored a goal and had an assist in a 3-0 victory over Lobos FC at Don Lugo High School in Chino on Saturday, June 10.

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, emigrated to the United States in 2017 and graduated from Glendale High School, where he scored 29 goals in 29 career varsity matches. He previously played for FC Golden State and Real SoCal academies before joining AS Los Angeles in 2021.
