San Juan Capistrano, CA (April 19, 2023) – NISA Nation announces Capo FC has returned to participate in the Southwest Region for the 2023 Spring Season.
Formed in 2006, the club has grown from a small youth club to become one of the most accomplished amateur sides in the United States and was the 2022 NISA Nation Southwest Region Champion.
“We want to be a professional club and compete in NISA. That has been our goal and we have not wavered from that,” Capo FC Director Peter Carey said. “Playing in as many high level competitions as possible prepares us for that future, and NISA Nation's platform in the Southwest continues to have strong leadership and provides a pathway forward for the club and our players.”
Capistrano FC intends to continue operating its reserve team in the Southwest Premier League. The club also features a boys youth academy.
