Norco, CA (February 14, 2023) – NISA Nation announces Toros Neza USA will participate in the Southwest Region for the 2023 Season.
Formed in 2013, the club is one of the longest operating men’s amateur clubs in Riverside County and competes annually in the Riverside County Cup.
“We have been building toward something better for a long time,” Toros Neza USA Owner Jorge Galvan said. “NISA and NISA Nation gives us a pathway that other leagues don’t. We have talented players that need to be seen by bigger clubs and NISA Nation gives both our players and our club professional opportunities. That’s what we want.”
Toros Neza USA has played closed-door friendlies against the men’s Under-23 teams from Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, San Jose Earthquakes, Cruz Azul and Pumas UNAM, and previously was a member of the UPSL (2015-’21).
The club also intends to operate a reserve team in the Southwest Premier League.
