Regional Manager Takes Lead Role of Growing Amateur-to-Pro Incubator
CHICAGO (January 12, 2022) – The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) today proudly announced Jonathan Rednour as the new managing director of NISA Nation. He succeeds Ron Patel who is moving on to a new opportunity.
“Jonathan played such a big role as we developed NISA Nation from an idea to matches on the pitch,” says NISA Executive Vice President Josh Prutch. “The success of the league moving forward is in very good hands. We thank Ron so much for the leadership we needed to get to this point, and we all wish him well.”
Rednour, founder and general manager of Crescent City (New Orleans) FC, has managed the Northeast Region since officially coming on board last August. The Northeast recently wrapped up the very first competition in NISA Nation with flying colors. Rednour also is the vice president and director of operations of the Gulf Coast Premier League, a NISA affiliate. He has played and managed on the amateur level, as well, which includes earning his E coaching license in 2012.
““This is a very exciting move for me,” says Rednour. “I learned a lot from Ron, these past few months, and the rest of the team is more than a year smarter. 2022 will be a breakout year for the league and its Member Clubs, and I am up for the challenge to grow it even further.”
